“Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” Movie Review

Ali Abbas Zafar is the writer and director of the 2024 Hindi-language action-thriller film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which translates to “Big Master and Little Master.” Under the auspices of Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films, Ali Abbas Zafar, Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Himanshu Kishan Mehra are producing it. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist in the movie, which stars Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles. Important parts are also played by Ronit Bose Roy, Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F, and Manushi Chhillar.

The film’s narrative Chote Miyan Bade Miyan Colonel Azad gives his top officer a critical mission as a masked enemy appears and begins wreaking havoc by stealing the country’s deadliest weapon: to enlist the aid of two renowned individuals from his regiment, the haughty Chote Miyan and the gloomy Bade Miyan. As the two set out on a mission to restore order, a compelling story of bravery and brotherhood unfolds, providing fans with an exhilarating fusion of adrenaline-fueled cinematic journeys and heart-pounding action.

The classic action movie “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, has occasional entertaining moments but ultimately falls short of being groundbreaking. The storyline, which centers on an antagonist’s retaliation against the Indian army after being deceived, is well-known. Even while the action scenes and Prithviraj’s character enhance the chemistry between Akshay and Tiger, the screenplay is uninspired and falls short of evoking a true emotional connection.

The film’s monotonous framework grows boring as the plot develops predictably, making viewers yearn for something new. To sum up, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘ provides a mediocre cinematic experience but fails to make an impact and ends up in the category of forgettable movies.

It’s depressing to witness Akshay Kumar straining to make you care about his acting. You can’t overlook his lack of effort to deliver a strong performance, even if you ignore the phony moustache. He seldom makes any facial expressions, and there’s only one shining moment. Even the sequence in which he shines is not relevant to this action thriller because it makes reference to Phir Hera Pheri. Tiger Shroff presents himself as a youthful, hip millennial, but rather than acting like one, he acts like one in a negative way. The friendship between Tiger and Akshay in their roles as Bade and Chote ought to be one of the film’s main themes. But it’s entirely absent from the entire thing. It is a complete mismatch.

The villain Kabir, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, has a good vocal modulation. Watching him take off the mask was only a welcome break in a film that fails to make even the slightest impression. But that is insufficient. One may wonder why this clowning would be acceptable for an actor who starred in a film such as Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life. Manushi Chhillar only engages in combat and driving, and nobody in the film even seems to think highly of her for it. At one point, the actress’s lack of expression and feeling made me wait for the creators to reveal that she is a robot rather than a human.

Venky Reviews: #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan is a cliched action movie that doesn’t really provide anything new, although it is decent in certain scenes. The movie tells the beaten-to-death tale of an adversary who was betrayed and affiliated with Indian forces, and now wants revenge.

The connection between Prithviraj’s character, a couple of action scenes, and Akshay and Tiger all work nicely together. Unfortunately, because we’ve seen this identical framework in so many other films, the writing lacks originality and a strong emotional connection, making it tedious to watch at times. All in all, a passable movie that is largely unmemorable.

All in all, it’s difficult to see Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. You can’t watch a movie and survive it if you drink a shot every time Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar walk in slow motion because you’ll be inebriated. It’s depressing to see that the main performers, who are renowned for putting on entertaining and watchable action routines, have very uninteresting battle scenes.
