Adam Wingard is the director of the next American monster movie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. It is the fifth installment in the MonsterVerse and the follow-up to Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), produced by Legendary Pictures and released by Warner Bros. Pictures. In addition, it is the thirteenth movie in the King Kong series, the 38th in the Godzilla series, and the sixth Godzilla movie to be entirely produced by an American motion picture company.Starring in the movie with Rebecca Hall are Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, Kaylee Hottle, Brian Tyree Henry, and Dan Stevens. Hall, Henry, and Hottle all play the same parts as in the first movie. In the movie, Godzilla and Kong have to cooperate to defeat an as-yet-unidentified foe that poses a threat to both the surface and the Hollow Earth.
Godzilla vs. Kong’s box office and streaming success during the COVID-19 epidemic led Legendary to declare in March 2022 that they will be filming a sequel later that year. It was revealed in May 2022 that Stevens had been selected as the main actor and that Wingard would resume directing. In Gold Coast, Queensland, filming got underway in July 2022 and ended in November of the same year.
This most recent installment, which comes right after the epic Godzilla vs. Kong battle, is a brand-new cinematic experience that pits the formidable Godzilla and the powerful Kong against a massive, unidentified enemy that is concealed within our globe and threatens both of their survival. In addition to delving deeper into the Titans’ pasts and origins, as well as the mysteries surrounding Skull Island and beyond, the epic new movie will reveal the legendary conflict that helped shape these incredible creatures and permanently bound them to humanity.
