New TV Series Seasons Premiering in June 2024

1. Star Wars: The Acolyte Season 1

Leslye Headland is the creator of the American science fiction television series The Acolyte, which is often referred to as Star Wars: The Acolyte and was developed for the Disney+ streaming service. Set toward the close of the High Republic era prior to the events of the Skywalker Saga, it is a part of the Star Wars universe and centers on a Jedi’s investigation into a string of crimes.

The Acolyte takes place around a century before Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999), during the close of the High Republic period in the Star Wars saga. In it, a revered Jedi Master investigates a string of crimes that connects him to a former Padawan trainee and uncovers evil forces.

Starring in the series are Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Charlie Barnett, Dafne Keen, Rebecca Henderson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss, Manny Jacinto, Dean-Charles Chapman, and Joonas Suotamo. By the end of 2019, Headland said that he was interested in working on the Star Wars franchise, and by April 2020, he was working on a new series for Lucasfilm. That December, the title was revealed. From October 2022 to June 2023, filming took conducted in London and at Shinfield Studios in Berkshire. Location filming was also done in Wales and Portugal.

2. The Boys Season 4

American writer and television producer Eric Kripke is creating the fourth season of The Boys, the first in a franchise based on the comic book series of the same name authored by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The show is a satirical superhero series. In collaboration with Point Grey Pictures, Original Film, Kripke Enterprises, Kickstart Entertainment, and KFL Nightsky Productions, Sony Pictures Television will produce the season.

Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, Cameron Crovetti, Valorie Curry, and Susan Heyward are scheduled to appear in the fourth season of the program. Victoria Neuman is controlled by Homelander and gets closer to the Oval Office than ever in this season. Billy Butcher has to collaborate with The Boys to rescue the planet, since he has only a few months to live.

The first three episodes of the season will debut on June 13, 2024, on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. Subsequently, episodes will be broadcast every week.

3. House of the Dragon Season 2

George R. R. Martin and Ryan Condal produced the American fantasy drama television series House of the Dragon for HBO. It is the second television series in the A Song of Ice and Fire franchise and a precursor to Game of Thrones (2011–2019). Condal and Miguel Sapochnik oversaw the first season’s showrunners. The story begins around 100 years after the Targaryen conquest unites the Seven Kingdoms, over 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, and 172 years before Daenerys Targaryen is born. It is based in part on Martin’s 2018 novel Fire & Blood.

The second season of House of the Dragon is titled House of the Dragon: Season 2. There are eight episodes in all. On June 16, 2024, “A Son for a Son” will have its HBO and Max debut. The conclusion will air on August 4, 2024. George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood served as its inspiration.

4. The Bear Season 3

American comedy-drama The Bear is a Hulu original series produced by Christopher Storer for FX. Starring opposite Jeremy Allen White is award-winning chef Carmy Berzatto, who returns to his Chicago birthplace to oversee the hectic kitchen at his late brother’s sandwich store. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Matty Matheson, Liza Colón-Zayas, Lionel Boyce, and Abby Elliott are among the supporting cast members.

June 23, 2022 saw the release of every episode from the first season on FX on Hulu, and June 22, 2023 saw the full release of the second season. The third season of the show, which premieres on June 27, 2024, was renewed in November 2023. The show was renewed for a fourth season, which will shoot concurrently with the third season, prior to the third season’s debut.

5. Hotel Cocaine Season 1

The television show Hotel Cocaine is a criminal thriller. Feuerstein, Vazquez Mark, and Danny PinoYul are the film’s stars. The narrative centers on Roman Compte, a former Bay of Pigs invasion soldier from Cuba who rebuilt his life in Miami and is currently general manager of the opulent Mutiny Hotel, the focus of the city’s cocaine culture in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
