1. Severance (2022 – Present)

Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle directed the science fiction psychological thriller television series Severance, which was conceived by Dan Erickson in the United States. Starring are Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. The story revolves around Mark S. A detached worker is called “innies” at work and is unable to recall anything about their past or the outside world. They are called “outies” when they labor outside and lose track of time. As a result, Innie and Outie have rather separate lives, complete with unique personalities and goals. Based partially on Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series of tales, Foundation is an American science fiction television series produced by David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman for Apple TV+. Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, and Leah Harvey lead the ensemble cast. First airing on September 24, 2021, was the series. The show received a second season renewal in October 2021, and it debuted on July 14, 2023. The third season of the show was renewed in December 2023.

Foundation narrates “…the thousand-year saga of The Foundation, a band of exiles who discover that the only way to save the Galactic Empire from destruction is to defy it.”

The American mystery drama television series Home Before Dark was developed by Dana Fox and Dara Resnik and shown on Apple TV+. Starring Brooklynn Prince, Jim Sturgess, Abby Miller, Louis Herthum, Michael Weston, Kiefer O’Reilly, Kylie Rogers, Adrian Hough, Joelle Carter, Jibrail Nantambu, and Deric McCabe, the series is based on the life of teenage journalist Hilde Lysiak. Before being taken into custody as a part of Operation Snowplow, a larger operation, James “Jimmy” Keene had turned to a life of crime. Despite being offered many college football scholarships, the once-promising young football player chose to remain in the Chicago region in order to be near his successful business. He took a plea agreement that he thought would last five years, with the possibility of release on parole after four. However, as part of the plot, he was found to have many illegal guns in his hands and received a ten-year prison term without the possibility of release.

Jimmy was presented by federal officials with a possibility for a totally commuted sentence with no conditions and a clean record due to his innate charismatic and appealing nature. This is the account of the risky bargain that was presented to him and the events that followed.
