1. Fool Me Once

Fool Me Once is an eight-part British television series that premieres on Netflix in 2024. Quay Street Productions adapted Danny Brocklehurst’s 2016 Harlan Coben novel of the same name. Joanna Lumley, Richard Armitage, Dino Fetscher, Michelle Keegan, and Adeel Akhtar are among the actors who appear.

It debuted on January 1, 2024, on Netflix. Currently ranked eighth among all English-language Netflix programs with 90.6 million viewers and 581,100,000 hours watched as of February 20, 2024.

2. Killer Soup

Netflix’s 2024 Indian Hindi-language black comedic crime thriller series is called Killer Soup. The Netflix series debuted on January 11, 2024. Abhishek Chaubey is the director and co-writer, alongside Unaiza Merchant, Anant Tripathi, and Harshad Nalawade. Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sen Sharma are the main actors. It was formerly known as “Soup.” Netflix offers the series for streaming. It is partially based on a Telangana case from 2017.

3. Lupin

George Kay and François Uzan are the creators of the 2021 French mystery thriller streaming television series Lupin. On January 8, 2021, the first five episodes of the series were uploaded on Netflix. On June 11, 2021, five more episodes aired. The third installment of the series, which premiered on October 5, 2023, was renewed.

In the episode, Omar Sy plays the character Assane Diop, a guy motivated by the exploits of Arsène Lupin, a master thief who was developed by Maurice Leblanc in the early 1900s. The subtitle of the first section, which consists of five episodes, is Dans l’ombre d’Arsène (“in the shadow of Arsène”), alluding to the inspiration of the main character. In its initial month of release, the series was viewed by 76 million households, making it the most popular non-English series on Netflix at the time.

4. Better call SAUL

As a prequel to the critically successful television series “Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul” tells the story of Jimmy McGill’s transition from a struggling small-time lawyer to the colorful and ethically dubious lawyer Saul Goodman. Jimmy’s complicated relationship with his law-abiding brother Chuck, his love interest and colleague lawyer Kim Wexler, and the criminal underworld he eventually becomes enmeshed with are all explored in this series, which is set in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A fascinating examination of morality, ambition, and the quest for success in the legal field, “Better Call Saul” features rich storytelling, interesting character development, and references to its predecessor.

5. Altered Carbon

Based on Richard K. Morgan’s 2002 novel of the same name, Altered Carbon is an American cyberpunk television series developed by Laeta Kalogridis. In an alternate reality where individuals possess the ability to shift their mind between multiple bodies, Takeshi Kovacs, a former military turned detective, is let out of jail to solve a murder. Ten episodes make up the inaugural season, which debuted on Netflix on February 2, 2018. The show was revived on July 27, 2018, for a second season consisting of eight episodes. The second season premiered on February 27, 2020, and on March 19, 2020, an anime film that was pre-released for the first season was published. Despite having mostly favorable reviews, the show was discontinued after just two seasons.

6. Ozark

Produced by MRC Television and Aggregate Films, Ozark is an American crime drama television series developed by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams for Netflix. As Marty and Wendy Byrde, a married couple who relocate their family to the Lake of the Ozarks in order to continue their employment laundering money for a Mexican drug cartel, Jason Bateman and Laura Linney play the series’ main characters. In addition, Bateman produces the show as executive producer and director. July 21, 2017 marked the release of the first season; August 31, 2018 marked the release of the second; and March 27, 2020 marked the release of the third.

7. Dark

Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese co-created the science fiction thriller television series Dark in Germany. It aired from 2017 to 2020 over three seasons. After a child goes missing, the movie follows residents from the made-up German town of Winden as they search for the truth. They piece together a diabolical multigenerational time travel scheme by tracing links between four separated families. The show investigates the existential consequences of time and how it affects human nature and existence. There is a group cast in it.

On December 1st, 2017, Netflix launched Dark, the first German-language original series on the platform. On June 21, 2019, the second season was made available, and on June 27, 2020, the third and final season was made available.

8. Mindhunter

Based on the 1995 true crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker, Mindhunter is an American psychological crime thriller television series developed by Joe Penhall. The two seasons of the show lasted from its 2017 premiere. Penhall, Charlize Theron, and David Fincher were among the executive producers. Fincher oversaw many aspects of the production and scriptwriting process and was the showrunner and most frequent director on the show. The show, which stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, and Anna Torv, chronicles the establishment of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit in the late 1970s and the start of criminal profiling.

On October 13, 2017, the first ten episodes of the first season of Netflix made their global debut. Netflix launched the second season on August 16, 2019. According to a January 2020 Netflix announcement, Fincher may “revisit in the future” but wanted to focus on other projects, so plans for a third season were put on indefinite pause. Fincher declared in February 2023 that the series was officially cancelled.

9. The Furies

The Furies, a Netflix series. This story is around a woman who is abducted and forced to play a deadly game in which men in masks pursue ladies.

10. Bodies

Paul Tomalin is the primary writer and creator of the British crime and science fiction limited series Bodies, which is directed by Marco Kreuzpaintner and Haolu Wang. It is an adaptation of the same-titled 2015 DC Vertigo graphic novel, written by Si Spencer and drawn by Meghan Hetrick, Dean Ormston, Tula Lotay, and Phil Winslade. On October 19, 2023, the eight-episode series made its Netflix debut.

The body turns up dead in London’s Longharvest Lane at the beginning of the novel. This incident occurs at the same spot in four distinct years (1890, 1941, 2023, and 2053) and sparks four distinct detective inquiries that ultimately connect and have far-reaching effects.
