1. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya
Starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is a science fiction romantic comedy film released in 2024 in Hindi. The film’s translation means “got so entangled in your words.” Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, who are making their directorial debuts.
October 2022 marked the start of principal photography, which ran through April 2023. On February 9, 2024, the movie was released in theaters to acclaim from reviewers. It rose to become 2024’s fourth-highest earning Hindi movie.
2. The Idea of You
Based on the same-titled Robinne Lee novel, The Idea of You is an American romantic comedy film from 2024, directed by Michael Showalter from a script he co-wrote with Jennifer Westfeldt. It follows the romance between the lead singer of a well-known boy band and a single mother. Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine star.
The Idea of You had its South by Southwest debut on March 16, 2024, and on May 2, 2024, Amazon MGM Studios published the movie as an original Prime Video title. Critics gave the movie favorable reviews.
3. Upgraded
Carlson Young is the director of the 2024 American romantic comedy Upgraded, which stars Camila Mendes, Archie Renaux, Thomas Kretschmann, Grégory Montel, Lena Olin, and Marisa Tomei.
On February 9, 2024, the film—a contemporary adaptation of the beloved fairytale “Cinderella” was made available on Amazon Prime Video. The protagonist of the tale is Ana Santos, an unappreciated but driven intern in the New York art scene whose life and career are drastically changed when she unexpectedly gets upgraded to first class on a journey to London.
4. Beautiful Wedding
Roger Kumble is the writer and director of the American romantic comedy Beautiful Wedding, which comes out in 2024. It is the follow-up to Beautiful Disaster (2023) and is based on Jamie McGuire’s book A Beautiful Wedding from 2013.
On January 24, 2024, Fathom Events hosted a two-night theatrical run of the movie. Vertical Entertainment published it on digital platforms on February 13, 2024.
5. Through My Window 3: Looking at You
Based on Ariana Godoy’s book of the same name, Through My Window (Spanish: A través de mi ventana) is a 2022 Spanish teen love drama film directed by Marçal Forés from a script by Eduard Sola. Pilar Castro, Clara Galle, and Julio Peña are the film’s stars. Netflix began streaming it on February 4, 2022.
On June 23, 2023, a follow-up called Through My Window: Across the Sea was made available. On February 23, 2024, the third and last installment, Through My Window 3: Looking at You, was made available.
6. The Family Star
Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, Parasuram wrote and directed the romantic action drama film The Family Star in the Indian language of Telugu in 2024. Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Deverakonda play the key parts in the movie.
Family Star’s Sankranthi release date was originally set, however it was rescheduled to prevent conflicting with other Sankranthi movies. Recai Karagöz is the director of the film Art of Love, which was written by Pelin Karamehmetoglu and is based on An Interpol investigator devises a scheme to apprehend the art thief she has been pursuing after discovering that he is her former romantic partner.
8. Tillu Square
The year 2024 saw the release of Tillu Square (also spelled (Tillu)²), an Indian Telugu-language romantic crime comedy film produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and directed by Mallik Ram under the auspices of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. In a follow-up to the 2022 movie DJ Tillu, Anupama Parameswaran plays the lead role while Siddhu Jonnalagadda plays his character from the first movie.

9. This Is Me… Now: A Love Story

On April 4, 2024, Netflix launched it. After being released by Magazzini Salani in 2021, The Tearsmith shot to prominence in Italy as the best-selling book of 2022. Colorado Film purchased the film adaptation rights in the middle of 2022 as a result of its success. Filming took place between February–June 2023 at Ravenna, Pescara, and Rome.
